DAY 1: OUARZAZATE → AIT BEN HADDOU → DADES GORGES

The first destination is the legendary Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou — a UNESCO World Heritage Site of earthen towers and ancient fortified lanes, overlooking a dry riverbed. This extraordinary monument has served as a backdrop for some of cinema’s greatest productions, and its timeless atmosphere makes it one of Morocco’s most compelling stops.
After lunch in the Ait Ben Haddou village, the road continues east through Ouarzazate and along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. DAY 2: DADES GORGES → TODRA GORGE → MERZOUGA DESERT

Arriving at your desert camp, you are welcomed with tea before dinner under the open sky, an evening of live Berber drumming around the fire, and a night in a private tent beneath the stars.
DAY 3: FULL DAY TO EXPLORE MERZOUGA DESERT
After breakfast at the camp and a camel trek back to Merzouga town, the day belongs entirely to the desert. A 4×4 vehicle takes you deep into the Erg Chebbi, venturing off-road through the most remote and dramatic parts of the landscape.
The centrepiece of the day is a visit to a nomadic Berber family living near the Moroccan-Algerian border — welcomed with genuine warmth, you spend time learning about their traditions, their relationship with the desert, and their extraordinary daily life.
