DAY 1: CASABLANCA → RABAT

Your 10-day private Morocco tour begins with a warm airport welcome at Mohammed V International Airport. The first stop is the Hassan II Mosque, a monument of extraordinary scale and beauty that rises above the Atlantic on the edge of Casablanca. Its soaring minaret and vast marble forecourt are among the most impressive architectural achievements in the contemporary Islamic world.

From Casablanca, the journey heads north to Rabat, Morocco’s dignified capital. The Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Oudayas Kasbah — with its blue-painted lanes overlooking the river mouth — are the day’s main attractions. The evening is spent in Rabat.

DAY 2: RABAT → CHEFCHAOUEN

After breakfast, the road climbs northeast into the Rif Mountains. The landscape shifts from Atlantic plains to forested hills, eventually revealing the extraordinary blue city of Chefchaouen nestled in a natural amphitheatre of rock. Arriving in the afternoon, you check in to your riad and begin exploring — every corner of the medina a photograph, every café a moment of peace.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN → VOLUBILIS → MEKNES → FES

A morning walk through Chefchaouen’s quietest alleyways before departure. The drive south takes you to Volubilis — Morocco’s finest Roman archaeological site, its triumphal arch and ancient mosaics standing in remarkable condition on a hilltop above the plain. Continuing to Meknes — often overlooked but rewarding, with its monumental Bab Mansour gate and Moulay Ismail granaries — before arriving in Fes for the night.

DAY 4: DISCOVER THE CHARM OF FES ON A GUIDED TOUR

A full day in Fes el-Bali with a specialist local guide. Founded in the 9th century, Fes is Morocco’s oldest imperial city and home to one of the world’s most complex and captivating urban environments. The day includes the Chouara Tanneries, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, the Jewish Mellah, and the extraordinary craft souks — copper and brass, leather, carpets, and spices. Every alley reveals a new world.

DAY 5: FES → IFRANE → MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS → ZIZ VALLEY → MERZOUGA DESERT

An early departure south from Fes. The road climbs through cedar forests and past Azrou, where Barbary macaques may be spotted by the roadside. The alpine town of Ifrane, the sweeping Ziz Valley, and the gradual reveal of the Erg Chebbi dunes make this one of the journey’s most cinematic days.

Arriving at the foot of the dunes in the late afternoon, you mount your camel for a sunset ride into the Sahara. At your luxury desert camp, dinner is served under the stars followed by live Berber music around the fire.

DAY 6: IMMERSIVE EXPLORATION OF THE MERZOUGA DESERT

A full day devoted entirely to the Merzouga desert. After the sunrise, an off-road 4×4 excursion carries you into the most remote corners of Erg Chebbi — including a visit to a nomadic Berber family in their desert encampment. You are welcomed with tea and warmth, and spend time gaining an authentic understanding of life in the Sahara.

The afternoon is open for sandboarding, photography, or quiet walks among the dunes. At sunset, a final camel ride to the highest dune. Another evening of desert music and stargazing at the camp.

DAY 7: MERZOUGA DESERT → RISSANI → TODRA GORGE → DADES GORGE

Sunrise, then breakfast at the camp, then departure west. The historic market town of Rissani — ancestral home of Morocco’s ruling dynasty — and the extraordinary Todra Gorge are the day’s main stops. The gorge’s towering walls press close above a shallow mountain stream, creating one of Morocco’s most dramatic natural corridors.

The afternoon drive through palm oases and pre-Saharan landscapes ends at the Dades Gorge, where your hotel sits against backdrop of layered canyon walls glowing in the last light.

DAY 8: DADES GORGE → OUARZAZATE → AIT BEN HADDOU → HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS → MARRAKECH

The penultimate day brings two of Morocco’s most iconic sights. Ouarzazate — Africa’s cinematic capital — is followed by the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of extraordinary earthen towers that has appeared in dozens of the world’s most celebrated films.

After the kasbah, the High Atlas Mountains provide a dramatic final mountain crossing via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before the descent into Marrakech.

DAY 9: GUIDED TOUR OF MARRAKECH

A full day in Marrakech with a specialist local guide. The Red City’s historic medina — itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site — is packed with extraordinary monuments: the Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Madrasa, the ancient tanneries, the Saadian Tombs, and the legendary Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. The afternoon is yours to browse the souks and soak in the atmosphere at your own pace.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE TRANSFER

A leisurely final morning in Marrakech before your transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for your onward flight. A perfect conclusion to ten extraordinary days.
